Online registration for the TPKC Grandsport Speedway event has been extended until Wednesday May 30th with an increase in race entry fee to $90.

Pre-orders for Tires, fuel and oil will close on Sunday May 27th. There will be a limited amount of tires, fuel and oil available at the track so get your order in now!

New tires are required on Saturday and are optional for Sunday.  Tires will be marked with TPKC and will be different colors from the first event. 

Be sure to use the online registration to order your tires, fuel and oil before Sunday May 27th at midnight to guaranteee delivery at the track.

There are no electricity outlets at Grandsport Speedway and no lights. Be sure to plan on using a generator or sharing a generator for electrical needs in your pit area.

Area hotels are filling up fast so book your room ASAP! There is a softball tournament in the area the same weekend as the Grandsport Speedway race and some hotels are already fully booked. We have reserved blocks of rooms at the following hotels.

Ask for the TPKC block of rooms at the Holiday Inn Express & the Bill Choice block of rooms at the Best Western & Comfort Suites and make sure they reserve it in your name & guarantee it with your credit card. We have them guaranteed with our credit card and we will cancel the hold on them 48 hours prior to June 1st. We were unable to negotiate a lower group rate as the hotels expect to sell out that weekend. 

Reminder - online pre-registration ends Sunday May 27th. Online registration is $80, track-side registration is $135.

eKarting News has released the 2012 EKN Driver Rankings for Stock Moto. Among the Top 10 Stock Moto drivers are SKUSA Texas ProKart Challenge racers Jake French currently in 4th place in the USA and Connor Wagner in 10th spot.

(Photo: High Velocity Productions)The inaugural Texas ProKart Challenge (TPKC) presented by 3G Kart Racing/Burger King™/Fernelius Alvarez Attorneys event went into the books over the weekend (May 4-6) at the Gulf Coast Kartways facility in Katy, Texas. The TPKC is a combination of Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) and United States Rotax Max Challenge (USRMC) programs, kicking off the year with rounds one and two around the 7/10-mile course. The Gulf Coast Karters helped to organize a great event with a ton of positive feedback throughout the weekend from a number of competitors.

The opening rounds of the Texas ProKart Challenge were a huge success with a total of 134 entries over the weekend!  Gulf Coast Karters organized a flawless event that ran with the precision of a Swiss timepiece according to the published schedule all weekend. The shifter classes were split into two groups to accommodate the 30 entries. There were several drivers competing in two classes, doubling their chance of winning paid entries to the Rotax Grand Nationals and the SKUSA! SuperNationals. With the SKUSA race format of qualifying, two heat races and a main event by the end of the weekend all drivers felt they had plenty of track time.

Texas ProKart Challenge Series season opening event is now in progress at Gulf Coast Karters in Katy Texas.

Camera mounting to a kart will be a Tech item at this weekend’s Texas ProKart Challenge event.  Improper mounting, loss on the track, and difficulty in determining ownership are among the issues. SKUSA and Rotax have addressed this matter with Tech Updates.   Please review the following tech updates from SKUSA and Rotax as camera mounting will be a tech item.
